Founded in 2019, Rope Burn Productions was born from a simple belief: stories have the power to change hearts, minds, and futures. We create films, podcasts, stage plays, and collaborative media projects that resonate emotionally, entertain deeply, and inspire audiences to act.
Since our start, we’ve produced award-winning theater and short films across genres—from drama to western to comedy—along with original podcasts and stage productions. Our work has been recognized internationally for writing, producing, directing, and performance. Our partnerships have included FujiFilms, who have contributed gear and sponsorship to bring our stories to life. At every level, we are driven by one goal: to tell stories that matter, stories that reflect the human experience and spark positive change.
Today, our mission extends beyond entertainment. Rope Burn partners with non-profits, brands, foundations, and private donors to bring light to the impact they’re creating and the change they envision. Through creative consulting, strategic visioning, production services, and storytelling collaboration, we help mission-driven organizations reach global audiences with authenticity and emotion.
Rope Burn was founded by award winning filmmaker and playwright Shane Peltzman, a creative producer and strategist with experience across industries. Covering a unique landscape of production, entertainment and big tech. From his early career in Hollywood as a tour manager and creative, producing live events for the David Lynch Foundation to his years at GV (Google Ventures) both in operations and content production.
Shane has traveled the world and using creative storytelling to highlight the communities and individuals he’s encountered, blending his passion for entertainment with his dedication to shine a light on the edges of the human experience.
